Amedeo BassiThe museum dedicated to Amedeo Bassi (Montespertoli, 1872–1949) is located in the heart of the historic centre of Montespertoli and collects together antiques and keepsakes of the tenor which have been donated by his heirs and by numerous fans to the City Council.

The display is housed in three rooms and guides the visitor through the life and success of a true Divo of the early 20th Century. Photographs, objects and films allow us to understand who Amadeo Bassi really was while learning of the great tradition of Italian opera.

A selection of musical contributions means that visitors can hear the voice of “extreme sweetness and strength” of this important citizen of Montespertoli.
