Built on the site of Cambiano Castle, a few steps from the historic Church of San Prospero where many of the artworks found today at the Museum of Santa Verdiana in Castelfiorentino come from. The villa was used as a postal station during the times of Cosimo I de Medici and then became the property of the noble Cambi family. Today the building is the result of restoration carried out in the XIX Century when the English style garden was created. Like many villas in the area, it is a popular location for weddings and other events.
