Mid-April to End of June, Vinci, various locations 
The festival, established to celebrate the birth of Leonardo da Vinci (15 aprile 1452) includes numerous cultural initiatives, as well as markets and sporting activities. The opening event, which for over fifty years takes place on the 2nd Saturday of April at the Leonardo Library is the Lettura Vinciana, a conference focusing on an aspect of Leonardo’s work held by internationally acclaimed scholars.
