Surrounded by woods and situated on the stunning hills of Gambassi Terme, the village of Mommialla, indicated on one of the historic maps of the area drawn up by Leonardo da Vinci, has been uninhabited for years. Only recently has it seen the salvaging of many of its buildings, which have been transformed into tourist accommodation. Near to the village, it is possible to see the baths of the thermal spring waters dating back to the middle ages.
