Villa PetrioloThis splendid 16th Century villa, immersed amongst vines and olive trees, a few kilometres from Cerreto Guidi, is closely linked to the nearby Medici Villa. In fact, it was in a kiln situated in the small farm of Golpaja, still part of the estates today, where the tiles that were used to build the famous hunting lodge of Cosimo I were fired.

Today the villa is owned by the Maestrelli family and is the fulcrum of a prestigious wine-making company that produces famous Chianti wines and extra virgin olive oil.
