Located among the splendid hills between Montaione and Balconevisi, the villa di Collegalli was built in the 19th Century by Duca Ferdinando Strozzi upon the ruins of the ancient medieval Colle Castle, of which only a few traces remain. The impressive estate which is visible from the road, includes many buildings, including oratories immersed in the countryside and two centuries old cedars of Lebanon trees. Today the villa belongs to the Burgisser family and has been divided into luxury holiday apartments.
